Pecan Pie

1 stick butter melted
3 eggs beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1 pinch salt
1 cup pecans chopped
1 pie crust


1.

melt butter until slightly browned

beat eggs and add sugar

3.

add karo syrup to egg mixture

4.

slowly add melted butter while beating egg mixture

5.

add vanilla, lemon juice, salt, and pecans

6.

stir

7.

pour into pie shell

8.

bake in preheated oven at 425° for 10 min then reduce heat to 325° for approximately 45 minutes


NOTE: You can save a portion of the pecans as halves to decorate the top of the pie.
